Thanks a lot, great work as always.
I hope someday you work on : Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha. ~ Ben-To ~ Dakara Boku wa, H ga Dekinai, they really need your attention.
> Inari, Konkon (17.06), H ga Dekinai (17.06) - I already worked. I can't promise to deploy. Sorry.
> My computer is being overwhelmed. (24 hours a year)
> Deployment schedule - Appropriate selection according to the situation.
> LEGEND OF THE GALACTIC HEROES PREMIUM BOX SET - I can't make a definite answer. I will consider it.
> Helling ultimate - no plan.
> 4Ch Audio is DTS-HDMA. Forced Flac conversion causes problems. (For normal conversion, one more process is required.)
No it doesn't. Unless you somehow messed up the channel mappings, DTS to FLAC works perfectly fine. I didn't do anything to the audio in my own rips and it ended up as L C R LFE just like the source. Nothing wrong with the dialogue or channel mapping.
Thank you for your awesome work!!
Btw, could you please seed [Moozzi2] Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo (BD 1920x1080 x.264-10Bit Flac) - TV + OAD
https://nyaa.iss.one/view/794199
Just seed it for a few hours and I'm good.
@Scyrous
Check your rip yourself. I'm not talking about another player. (potplayer basic setting + Earphone)
I said clearly. (one more process is required.)
But Most people watch videos in their player default setting.
DTS-HDMA -> Flac conversion is problematic due to player compatibility due to Dolby's function. (Mapping, play time, silence)
It is also a problem in other works.
It's not normal in some situations. It should be normal in all situations.
Thank you! Do you have any plan for work on
Code Geass Movies(1 Koudou, 2 Handou, 3 Oudou)
Gundam 00(1st/2nd Season + Special Edition 1~3 + Movie)
Rurouni Kenshin OVA(Tsuioku hen + Seisou hen)
Hakkenden: Touhou Hakken Ibun
Hand Shakers
I'm sorry for the large list
@Moozzi2
I don't use potplayer. Sounds like a pretty bad media player if it can't properly play 3.1 FLAC audio.
Anyhow, audio works fine in MPV, MPC and even VLC.
Thanks for the release.
I appreciate the filters that you apply on some old or low-image-quality anime.
In this release, I understand that you want to reduce the fogginess of the video.
However, if you check those space battle scenes, half of the stars are gone...
I compare those scenes in this release and the crunchyroll streams,
on a nice screen that is able to show deep black and bright white (i.e. high contrast),
it is easy to pick that those in the crunchyroll streams are more spectacular.
I mean that's the thing with filters that most people don't think about. The cleaner it is the more "small" details are lost, generally.
The craze with cleaning for the sake of cleaning peaks in releases that have a lot of BGs' details missing, same with little shadows and whatnot.
Basically most connoisseurs are very careful of any cleanings and such, but I guess even such works have their audience.
