Out of all the existing file versions currently available on the internet, these should produce the clearest image for this anime overall. ( I tested around 20 or so other file versions of this anime ) This torrent is focused on overall quality at reasonable torrent size. The files have good subs, with op/ed translation. Great for long term storage. Language : Japanese. Subs : English. Enjoy.

My reason for doing this is mostly selfish ,im running out of hdd space ( 1tb hdd ) and id like to free some of it without deleting the anime, files, games i already downloaded, hence why im uploading rather random anime's ranging from pretty good to not so good, ( im looking for the largest folders on my hdd,and i start my testing on that anime folder ) You might say something like : Well just delete the anime you watched or atleast the not so good anime when you're running out of space you weeb, And my answer to that would be that this is not how torrenting works you weeb,if everyone would delete their anime as soon as they watched it ,or if they dont like it, or as soon as they're done with that particular file, software, game, then no one would be able to download anything on these torrent sites, What anime, games and so on i like, someone else on this world might well hate, and what i hate someone else might well like,so deleting your torrents out of these reasons is pretty selfish ( i almost always seed everything i've downloaded, permanently, except the test files i download for my anime testing [ but im always trying to seed these files too,at least for a while ]

Another reason why im going to such lengths is simply because i like anime, and id like to see again in a few months, years or even decades ( if my hdd's don't crap themselves ) the anime i've already seen,in greater quality, and id like other people to be able to do the same,( from my observations anime doesn't survive on the web as long as movies, games and tv shows,so i believe its best to give these downloads greater priority ) [this is where seeding my stuff comes in,although unlikely,if somehow my hdds decide to shit themselves,at least i might be able to redownload some of my uploads on a new a ssd/hdd from other seeders ) And im a mostly study from home student, and soon to be a working from home stock investor,in short i have plenty of free time. My testing methodology : On nyaa and on each anime, i download one episode or two from all the still seeded torrents and even from the torrents that appear to have zero seeders but have lots of completed downloads,i do the same thing on the other anime sites i've found throughout the years and i download a file or two of whatever version of that file i find on those other sites ( from 14 download sites total ) and i put them in a testing folder, now this is where the fun begins .

I mostly download even the biggest file version of the anime that i find ( as long they aren't exaggerated in size, [ 2-3 gb + ] ) ( my intention is to free some space but i also want to increase quality ) Then i select the biggest file i have, and i use it as the benchmark to beat, or to equal ( quality wise ), i begin by taking a few screenshots of the characters in different scenes and ideally lighting conditions, then i take a few other screenshots of buildings/characters/foliage ( that from a perspective standpoint, they are very far away from you, the viewer ) in both day light and deep darkness,( most encodes start to fall apart in the dark ) then i take some screenshots in poorly lit rooms and homes, and some screenshots of intermediate distances in places where i believe other encodes might begin to break down, then i do some motion tests,( i let the episode play a little and see how it looks while viewing it ) Then i beggin testing the other file version by going down from the largest files to slightly smaller files and see if those smaller files aren't by any change better looking than the biggest file i had downloaded ( sometimes they do ),and use the smaller file i've found as a benchmark instead, and redo some key screenshots on the new benchmark I look for aliasing, grain, blurring and other artifacts in light and more importantly in deep darkness,i insist my testing in the darkest scenes i can find, because, these are the places where most encodes begin to break down, the smaller and lower quality encodes often show very visible banding artifacts, blurring, aliasing, missing detail, and so on,both in light and dark scenes, and try to go down the list of files until i reach and equilibrium point in terms of quality (where the quality loss is none or next to unnoticeable )

Then i repeat this process all over for ova's and specials Also,i don't give much attention to whether the file is acc,flac,8-10 bit or from mozzi, noobsubs, prosubs, niggasubs and so on,i give every file i find a fair change to impress me,some people around here and to caught up in the technicalities of the file and they're missing out I then test the audio in my headphones and see if they sound good ( over a few minutes of the episode ), and at least as good as the benchmark,if they do is off to finding the subs For subtitles : I download a number of sub packs from one of the site's i've found and beggin by comparing the quality of the translation with both the benchmark file and the other sub pack i've downloaded, and see which one of the subtitles make the most sense both grammatically and contextually ( scene context ), when i've found the sub pack with the best translation, i beggin looking in the other sub packs for the same translation but with nicer font,if i can find the same subtitle again but with nicer font, then i use that for the final file versions of the anime. And that would be it .

@Poto_Siepi Pretty good joke there lmao, you summed up pretty well what the lollies say to me when i get close to the screen for...cough....my pixel peeping
Keep doing what you are doing. I'm archiving as well! I just bought an 8TB External HDD on January and I only have 30GB left. I have multiple 4-6TB HDD that only have 30-50GB left.I plan on buying 10TB HDD on Black Friday this year. Especially how what the Internet is happening nowadays with all the BS censorship and a lot take down notice craps. Save as much as you can.
then shouldn't you have upload it in x265 instead, I really like this anime, it is a shame it is incomplete and probably will never get an S2.
this anime is a masterpiece animation wise, even in today's standards.
