does it always have to be 265? can't you at least do 264 as a alternative option?

Great show but why use TV on Season 2? Well not I really care because found a group that make small size BD1080p high quality for this show but they only make for S2 not S1. I take S1 BD 1080p from yours and S2 BD 1080p from them. Perfect \(^^ )/

but it's not consistent. for more people it has a tendency of getting all messed up. you literally take a gamble on whether it's gonna work or not. also stop doing it doesn't mean it's not still being used. those few years you mentioned also have more proof showing how 265 is still a mess and hasn't been fixed for people to use without worry. so it's better to have 264 until who made 265 manages to fix all the bugs.

Few years ago I mean here is back in many years ago that time Animencode still new. h265 now already mature. That's why h264 has been drop from many group that making small size high quality. Animencode back then not good in therm of quality compare to now. At time 265 still new, many encoder not know what best setting tweak so the size small for best quality you can get compare to 264. Now encoder has community to share best setting to use. "That" inconsistent mostly due to encoder it self. Same story when encode h264 into small size. The encoder need to know setting to use
