Before you put out the batch... please, please learn how to do patches. It's very easy.
- Get a patch creator program and run it.
- Fill in the original and the new file names and the name of the directory to be created.
- The program creates a directory with a patch, a copy of xdelta3, and scripts for Windows and Linux.
Zip up the directory and repeat for all the episodes that need patches.
Because you are just changing scripts, your patch files will be less than 1MB instead of 600MB (or more) per episode.
Unless you are actually changing the video and audio, the patch file will be MUCH smaller than a new file release. Think of the fans on data-limited links! Think of the electrons going to waste!
Seriously... because you're using Horrible's video and audio as is, patch files were always the way to go.
Well, I am planning to change some video source to less weighty actually. Because now some files are ER and some are HS. I'm planning to use one of them in final release.
