That's correct. It was canceled before the series had a chance to get off the ground. Only two volumes were published for the series. Some comments on MAL hinted that the series was basically a To Love Ru clone. There were complaints that the manga was doomed to end due to very low plot development. There were reports that the manga had low sales, which may have precipitated its cancellation. Just like how new anime seasons are dependent on home video sales, the continuation of manga is affected by sales of their tankouban releases.
