The BDMVs had analyzer text in katakana, whereas the DVDs had them in English. So the analyzer text was upscaled and colour graded from the DVDs, and overlaid on the BDMVs using the Masking Tool. The alternative was hardsubbing the analyzer text, which would have looked very unprofessional and ugly. 2. The frames where Gorillamon's name appeared on Henry's computer screen were upscaled and colour-graded from the DVDs. This was done because Gorillamon's name appeared as Gorimon in the BDMVs. 3. The Digivolution text from the DVDs was upscaled and colour-graded, and a grid was added to it, to get the same look as the BDMVs. 4. Some scenes were cut differently/rearranged with respect to the BDMVs/the DVDs, to create a coherent whole. 5. Since the subs provided by EDAC were ripped directly from Hulu, they were chock full of mistakes, such as Rika's name being written as 'Reika', or Kyuubimon being called 'Cubimon'. While most of these and other mistakes were corrected, I could not manually correct all of them, and if you spot any, let me know in the comments below, with the timestamp of the subtitle. 6. Matroska chapters were manually added. These are different from the chapters on the BDMVs. 7. The eyecatch from the BDMVs was removed ![img](https://i.imgur.com/dMtrWw9.jpg) ![img](https://i.imgur.com/Y4UmdxC.png) ![img](https://i.imgur.com/l4vBjIk.png) ![img](https://i.imgur.com/MXsLaoS.png) ![img](https://i.imgur.com/IpmBFZo.png) ![img](https://i.imgur.com/QWgu1K6.png) **Changes/additions that will be made in the Special Edition:** 1. Improved SDH subs (these ones don't have speaker labels for every dialogue). 2. An audio description track for the visually impaired. I'll be doing the audio description myself. 3. A 5.1 upmixed track, akin to what Toei did with the first two Digimon movies for the BD box. I'll be doing this with RX 7, Audacity, and quite possibly Spleeter. 6. A 'Nostalgia Mix' track, combining elements from the Japanese soundtrack and English soundtrack 7. An isolated score track. Don't expect me to work on the next arc or the Special Edition before Christmas. Special thanks to Judas for the BDMVs, and the folks over at Exiled-Destiny and EDAC for the DVDs and subs respectively. **Episodes in this supercut:** Episode 01 - Guilmon Comes Alive Episode 02 - Digimon, Digimon Everywhere Episode 03 - To Fight Or Not To Fight Episode 04 - It Came From the Other Side Episode 05 - Dream A Little Dream Episode 06 - O Partner, Where Art Thou? Episode 07 - Now You See It, Now You Don't Episode 08 - A Question of Trust Episode 09 - Not As Seen On TV Episode 10 - The Icemon Cometh Episode 11 - Much Ado About Musyamon Episode 12 - Divided They Stand Episode 13 - Juggernaut *Don't forget to say "Thank you", and keep seeding!* *To avoid fakes, always check that the torrent was added by VeloEncodes.* ***If you liked this release, consider donating.*** **BTC:** 1PwAZGwp6F2vsPMVW4fSpQB7K2GRxmwM8R For more releases, visit our Telegram channel: http://t.me/veloencodesreleases

So subtitles are all capitalized? Why though?

User
@kymophobia, that's because it was like that in the subtitle source (Hulu). It would take far too long to change them to the proper case.
This is awesome thank you so much to you and all the people involved in the encode I was wondering if there was any way you or someone could do a version two of this with all episodes in separate files?

@mitchevan1, I do believe that prior to working on this supercut, BFT was working on his own dubbed-over-raw version. Not sure, but I'll ask him if the project is still something he's willing to do, or if it's fair game for the community, in which case feel free to use our supercut as a base for individual episodes. Also, I understand not everyone has the time to watch a 4.5-hour supercut, which is why I've very meticulously added Matroska chapters. These chapters are by scene, and not episode, but if you remember where you left off, it will be easy to jump to the next part. Also, most major battles, like Renamon vs. Allomon, and Gargomon vs. Musyamon, have their own Matroska chapters, so there's that too.
I want to second this voice: wtf is with a SuperCut?!? Where is Digimon Tamers Part 2 of 9 AND WHY was it glued together with Part 1???? There is no one who wanted a VeloEncodes SuperCut of Part 1 & Part 2 BECAUSE we are ALL still waiting on said Part 2. We have been waiting a long while as the posts previously show that we were told we would be waiting for Digimon Adventure Z2 to finish before Tamers would be considered to be re-continued!! (On that topic Part 5 last dropped in July some 4ish months ago.) While I understand conceptually some people find Super Cuts of their favorite series neat. The process of creating a Super Cut does not come until after the individual episodes are are available! Where is Tamers Part 2 individually?!? It currently does not exist!! On top of that, Super Cuts are rarely started before the availability of the entire series is available. We appreciated the work that VeloEncodes has been providing on the Digimon franchise. It's incredible. No doubt about it. However, if the tail-end of the post is going to talk about asking for donations... would you not think it wise to not rock the boat by giving us something we don't want by showcase that we could have been provided exactly what we want and have been waiting for... for a long time!!! On top of all of that: I, like so many, watch my media from a media center device. The scrapper: TheTVDB is used by both Kodi & Plex based devices. The listing for Tamers is individual episodes so I need individual episodes for my device to properly playback the series.

@TheAllyKat, I understand your concerns. Individual episodes is something we're considering (BFT and I), but because of how badly it was cut by Saban during dubbing, a dual-audio release with the Saban audio would be impossible. On that note, I'll talk to BFT regarding releasing this supercut as two sets of episodes. The only things we'd really need to work on would be the opening and the ending theme. Regarding Zero Two, see the comments on my last set. I've lost access to the raws because of an HDD crash, and I've said as much multiple places. However, I AM working on deinterlacing the episodes from the BDMVs to match the bitrate of the CXRAW release. If you guys really want the next set to come out ASAP, I can only give you a mini-encode, that is dual-audio but uses adamluffy's release as a base. Also, please understand that encoding is neither my career nor something I do professionally. I've been dealing with a lot of things in my life, but I've been double-timing to make sure you guys get what you want. However, I'm getting the sense that you don't want a supercut. I understand that. But owing to my reputation of dropping projects, I'll drop neither Zero Two nor the supercuts project. I WILL however ask BFT if he can take out the time to release the supercut as sets 1 and 2. Thanks ?? EDIT: Does the TVDB list Digimon Tamers as Digimon Tamers, or as Digimon: Digital Monsters season 3? I want to do it right this time, and I wanna make sure everyone gets what they want.

Just to add to my previous comment, the donations part is a generic donations message that has no deeper meaning. It exists because ever so often, I'll mirror my releases to ETTV (like I did with this one). I hope that clarifies it. Also, if you checked the Telegram channel, you'd know we are now actively working on Tamers as individual episodes. However, and I can't stress this enough, these episodes will be secondary in priority to the supercuts. So after a supercut drops, expect two sets (or 'Volumes' as we're calling them going forward) to drop AFTER the supercut. It might be a week, it might be a fortnight, it might even be a month after the supercut releases, but that is generally the timeframe in which one or both Volumes will drop, assuming no delays. Zero Two won't be affected by these delays, and will be subject to when I can find or reencode the raws. I've asked a fellow Nyaa user to grab the CXRAW raws for me (actually two Nyaa users), but with virtually nobody seeding them, it may take a while. Thanks for your understanding, appreciation, patience and constructive criticism ?

I have no issue waiting for Z2 to finish out of respect for the process... so that's my only "pony in that race." (While I preferred the characters, after the Last Evolution it became clear that they were denied any character development in the canon of a timeline extending past the initial series.) To be honest: I am ONLY here for a HIGH quality version of the Tamers'd dub. A continuation of what was started previously by you (https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1217424). I own the Japanese BluRay box set. I do not care at all for the Japanese dialogue. So, I have never broken the factory seal on it. I grew up with the dub. It's one of the few shows (and yes, I am considering it its own independent show) which managed to maintain a majority of the tone and feel with the dub, I feel the voice work was handled pretty decently. It's also one of the few dubs from that era which is 100% rewatchable as an adult and feeling like it still holds up for all ages. The TLDR... if you are going to do this "Super Cut" style... can you please do a 2nd cut to separate the episodes and slap back on the OG Japanese intro & outro. I just want my episodes. I don't care if they are not all the same duration as a result of being remade from your Super Cuts! I don't want to be told how much I just want individual episodes.

Hey, @TheAllyKat, you'll be pleased to know that your request is something we've taken seriously. We are separating our supercut episodes into individual episodes, and calling the end product that reaches you ```Digimon Tamers (2001) - The Remastered Cut (1080p AC3 5.1) [Velo-BFT]``` It will be released in 8 'volumes', to match the 8 discs of the BD box. Episode 1 is already done, including the audio, subs and Matroska chapters. My collaborator BFT is currently encoding the rest of the episodes of the first two volumes; however, as I am on vacation till the Sunday after Thanksgiving, I won't be able to do any audio magic or subtitle (dubtitle) work. Often, I have had to put dates on stuff and then unannounce it, disappointing you guys; however, I can say with some degree of confidence, that at an optimistic estimate, you should have the first two volumes on Nyaa and ETTV by Christmas. Please note that that date is not set in stone, but I'll try my level best to meet the deadline. Although the audio is being panned as Dolby Digital Surround, I am looking at certain elements individually (the Atmos workflow, but not Atmos audio) to pan them in a way that makes sense, for the most authentic experience possible. This is what Toei, Shout Factory, Madman and all the other companies just won't give you, since they're only concerned with turning a profit. As a pirate, I'm only doing this for the community, so I'll give it my all, even if people eventually say I shouldn't have done it. For the original announcement of the Remastered Cut, see this post, and get sufficiently hyped: https://parler.com/post/c15f6d5dc9754dbbbcc3e7603a00bc78

Just an update: I'm done with the audio work for the first volume, and I gotta do subtitles, Matroska chapters and final muxes for episodes 4, 5 and 6. Once that's done, volume 1 should be up. I'm still trying to meet a Christmas deadline, but I've got a major exam coming up, so that's looking less and less realistic. After that, it should be smooth sailing for episodes 7 through 13. I've really streamlined my audio workflow, and now I've got two monitors, so it's a lot more easier to work on stuff in general. If the Christmas deadline is met, you'll get the first set by then. If not, well, you might be in for a New Year's Eve treat. BFT and I hope to blow your f-ing minds with this. This is everything you could ever ask for from a dubbed Tamers torrent.
Hello @thecharioteermode< YES!!! These are works that make me ecstatic. I will always state that if Toei doesn't want my money... that's there own fault!! Life is it's own mess. As long as it is coming, that's great news to my ears!! The (I assume Perler cause it was typed Parler) link doesn't work. When I correct it to Perler, Perlier just spits out a 404 page. :(
@thecharioteermode, Since episodes 1-6 were already released by you on this very site and sine you have not posted in weeks, do we have an update to the eps 7+ eta?

Hey, I'm super sorry about this debacle. The truth is, I've had zero motivation to do anything, and with college applications and all, I've just not been able to dedicate any time to Tamers. Regarding the episodes, I've been sitting on the first set for a while, but 6 is unsubbed, and 4 I lost the upmixed audio for. Ultimately I decided to just release the episodes in stereo on a priority basis, with the 5.1 episodes having second-to-last priority, but I've just not found the motivation to sit my ass in front of the PC and time the subs. Although I'll try my level best to release the first volume by the end of this month, and the best volume (7-13) before Valentine's Day. I've just been procrastinating for too long. Now is the time I gotta get up from this cosy blanket and just march on with this release. Regarding Parler, AWS pulled the plug on them. It was becoming an echo chamber for opinions of a certain political inclination, but after what happened earlier this month in the States, yeah, well, Parler got yeeted.

In fact, I'mma go on the record and say this right now, so that I'm held accountable for my laziness. If you don't get the first volume in stereophonic FLAC audio and glorious 1080p resolution within the next 24-28 hours (as of the time of writing this), send an angry text to BACVelocifaptor#6969 on Discord. In fact, I'll try to do an overnight job of this, and it's around 8:39 PM here, so I have plenty of time.

As promised, volume 1 is up! I endeavour to release volume 2 (episodes 7-13) before Valentine's Day, and the Surround Sound Edition of volume 1 sometime between now and then. Again, sorry for being slow as a snail, but you know, shit happens, and lately a lot of stuff's being going on with me that has left me virtually no time for my avocation of piracy.

Arc 2 is coming up very soon! I just have to sync the dubtitles, add Matroska chapters and mux everything in. Special thanks to BFT for the timely encode. I will also be putting up DDL links to Digimon Tamers on A Certain Digidude's Index of Digitastic Releases, so keep an eye there as well: http://digidudes-releases.online Thanks for your patience! If you're having trouble grabbing this release, let me know, so that I can hotlink it from my teamdrive.
any chance for a reseed ??? plz n thx
The seeding on this is dead

I hear ya. Gonna put it up for reseeding from two IPs. Here's hoping you guys keep the torrent alive after I'm done seeding. EDIT: Ah son of a bitch! I don't have those txt files anymore. RIP EDIT 2: If this doesn't start seeding in 24 h, I'm going to reupload the torrent, without the superfluous text files, of course. You guys SHOULD be able to download at least the episode itself though (assuming any peers connect to my seedbox). EDIT 3: We good to go. We Gucci Mane. Got the text files from AnimeTosho. Crisis averted. EDIT 4: Also, for some reason, Nyaa reports both my IPs as leechers rather than seeders. Is this perhaps related to share ratio? I am so confused lol.
