This torrent is a supplement to [/m/subs' release](https://msubsreleases.wordpress.com/2021/05/18/metal-armor-dragonar-episode-48-victory-hymn-of-space/) Video source are these [R2J DVD Remuxes](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/673804). Subtitles are by [GARlock](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/474195), restyled to fit with /m/subs' other episodes. OP/ED are taken from /m/subs' release, Previews are untranslated. I roughly retimed the subs to fit the new video, but GARlock's timing isn't great, especially in the first episode. Subtitles are muxed into the video files, but I also included my retimed subtracks as separate files. Basically, the GARlock files in /m/subs' batch had terrible RAWs ([these](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/194823)) since they couldn't adapt his NTSC-timed script to the slightly sped up Italian PAL DVDs. The Remux had some combing artifacts going on, but it's still a much better source than the "LD-rip" or the [other RAWs](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/902616) I could find - and better than the Italian DVDs. Here's a small [comparison between various releases](https://slow.pics/c/VfGeUpln) for those interested. I was considering doing 10-20 to see the difference between the Italian DVD and this R2J DVD, but the timing seems to require a lot more manual work, and I judged that it probably isn't worth it as long as we don't have a full R2J DVD ISO or Remux (preferably without artifacts), or even a BD. Might get back to it later, but getting these out takes priority.

@cazador1337 I'm already seeding everything I've downloaded from that torrent. And the later DVD-Rip section is simply dead. I don't think that part has been seeded since like 2017. You'll only get 21-22 from those, and it's not like the quality on them is as good as the Remux.
Too bad you stop here, I just finish your release and its the best until now T_T
Msubs did a huge mistake for prefering bootleg rips. I'll follow your relase.

@Akuma_Blade /m/subs didn't use any bootlegs. GARLock was a different project altogether and used what looks to be rips of the proper Japanese LDs. the Italian DVDs that /m/subs used likewise look to be legit (they made an entire dub for it after all), and at the time they were the best available source - case in point, the Japanese DVDs aren't online anywhere anymore, if they ever were, and the actual bootlegs, the Taiwanese DVDs that came with the Crabsticks ("Markgraf"), were bad quality AND had a shitty rip (not even sure if a non-hardsubbed one existed). What /m/subs did was perfectly reasonable back in the day, it's just that it has been 8 years. The NTSC-PAL framerate issues that eventually prevented them from redoing GARLock's episodes (and generally syncing to different RAWs) were a minor problem compared to everything wrong with markgraf, and so was the bad audio quality. But either way, once the BDs come out next year, /m/subs will probably redo their release for that, and if they don't (i.e. if DiscoTek snatches the license) me or someone else will probably do it. Then we won't have to worry about the various DVDs anymore.
@Darkonius, I mean Italian version and Japanese rip aren't compatiable for timing. When BD Rips come (actually, February), we can't use Msubs translations on those.

@Akuma_Blade Don't worry, programs like SubRip can automatically retime from PAL to NTSC. After that it's just a matter of adjusting the timing of the segments (OP, A, B, ED, Preview) to sync up with the BD (as the Italians made some minor edits between parts - not within segments though thankfully). I did some testing after making this batch and I think I even have one or two episodes roughly done, but I got busy and never did more. And I'd really like for /m/subs to do the BD release since there are some inconsistencies in style and translation (most notably episode titles) with their early episodes that they could fix better than I can.
Has the blu-ray been uploaded anywhere yet? It looks like a great remaster. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gumjvTLc7o

@Ratman Yes, there is currently one encode of the BD online, but no BDMVs. https://www.anirena.com/?s=TV%E3%82%A2%E3%83%8B%E3%83%A1%E3%80%8E%E6%A9%9F%E7%94%B2%E6%88%A6%E8%A8%98%E3%83%89%E3%83%A9%E3%82%B0%E3%83%8A%E3%83%BC%E3%80%8F%E3%83%96%E3%83%AB%E3%83%BC%E3%83%AC%E3%82%A4%E3%83%BB%E3%83%9C%E3%83%83%E3%82%AF%E3%82%B9+Kikou+Senki+Dragonar+Blu-ray+Box+TV+ep+01-48+%2B+Tokuten+%28BD+H264+960x720+AAC%29+%5BQTS%5D I've been working with msubs on making a BD release of Dragonar with these RAWs, even though they do have some shortcomings (like only being 960x720 when I feel it could absolutely profit from 1440x1080, or that they seem to have cut out 5-6 frames of video at the beginning of each episode without resyncing the audio) - nothing to do but hope that better RAWs come about someday.
