O.O That was fast Ganba! You even updated Trails from Zero =D Thank you so much for gathering and managing all Legend of Heroes Trails series in such a helpful, well documented and carefully put together way! Without exaggerating, it is thanks to you I am enjoying the series from the beginning, with no effort from my side. Thanks again and bless you! Cheers mate!
Thank you very much!
This is dope! and thanks for all the other Trails uploads too!
this is the release im looking for XD. not the *** one days ago with geofront "censored" lol. thanks a lot!!
Can you still use the original BGM in this version?

User
@Noktum You only install the mods you want to install, otherwise it'll be everything as the original.
do you have patch ver. 1.0.1? I have late to download them from their site, and now it's gone because the game is going official

User
It's available here: https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1402298 I'll download it too and make the DDL in a few hours.

v1.0.1 is up on the DDL now as well.
The translation patch could become priceless now that the guys at Geofront reached an agreement with NISA and sold them the rights to use their translation in a future official release (definitely overpriced: I miss the times when Xseed had the rights of the series and the games were quite affordable on steam compared to the present time with NISA putting on them prices that you usually find only on AAA titles made by big japanese companies like Square-Enix or Capcom).
Thank you so much for this! I really hope you do the Ys series next (hopefully with a PC "repack" of Ys V that is just a fan-translated SNES ROM with a built-in emulator) alongside the other Falcom franchises. NISA used to be terrible but the backlash against the botched American release of Ys VIII made them change their ways and they are going great now, aside from the overpriced games.
Apparently, with some hacking (actually really simple drag-and-drop stuff), the Steam-exclusive DLC from Cold Steel I, II and IV can be restored to the GOG versions.

User
@HARVEST I'll investigate this. Thanks for mentioning.
@Ganba Thanks! Are you planning on doing similar packages for other Falcom games? Particularly the Ys series (of course), the Sorcerian games (because they are not on Steam or GOG but they do have fan translations) and Rinne (ditto).

User
Was possibly thinking about a Ys compilation but never got around to it. Maybe one day.
@Ganba Where can we add you on Discord?
Any updates on hacking Steam DLC to the GOG versions of the Cold Steel games? Will you please put them up as soon as possible if it does work?

User
Best way to keep in touch is through here. No updates yet. I won't necessarily upload it right away.
Thanks, anyway. What are you working on right now? I presume it is another Falcom repack or hacking Steam DLC to the GOG versions of CS1 and CS2. Anyways, CS4 had some updates on GOG and your version is outdated, said update also has some more DLC that wasn't initially included in your release. Still, I am curious if all the Steam DLC is now on GOG for at least CS4. If so, then the only hacked DLC should be for CS1 and CS2.

User
I'm still gonna check on getting all the DLC on the GOG releases, if that works I'll probably be doing an update on all of Cold Steel and putting everything in a single torrent to improve seeding.

All that needs to be done to enable all DLC on GOG is to copy the steam_emu.ini file from the Steam crack. The files for CS I are all the exact same between GOG and Steam, the DLC is only blocked behind a flag, not the files themselves.
Great! Thanks for all of this. I am really excited.
guys, why i can't install the file? always said file denied?

User
@Shiva You will need to be more specific.
Why is that I can install Zero to whatever disk I want, but with Azure I have Error code 2 or some shit? It works fine with the default location that game gives you.
I think I figured it out, it should still have FALCOM/ED_AO name in it.
