Important: Starting from the 16 ep, the sound will be in EAC3 (best NF sound atm). It is superior AAC in spectrum.

The AAC has 11,5kHz (SBR is trying to figure out the missing kHz) while the EAC3 has 15kHz. That should mean EAC3 is better … wrong. The higher the kHz is, the more bitrate is needed. EAC3 (unknown encoder) seems to be less efficient than their AAC (fdkaac encoder). 128kbps is simpy not enough here. The “better loadness” present in the comparison isn’t worth the trade-off. There are way more noticable audio artefacts present in the EAC3 audio. Even when it looks better on paper, it really isn’t. Both aren’t great overall, but the 128kbps AAC audio is still better here. The only actual decent audio on Netflix is the 192kbps xHE-AAC audio, but barely any video player can playback it. Converting it to flac would increase the file size by a lot.

@eXmendiC So what audio do you recommend is best for this show AAC/EAC3 or Opus.
eXmendiC
AAC, there is no Opus.
