Description
Tang San is one of Tang Sect martial art clan’s most prestigious disciples and peerless in the use of hidden weapons. With high expectations, the sect’s elders believe his future will be bright; yet Tang chooses to forsake this life at the cost of obtaining the sect’s forbidden lore—an action punishable by death. Tang, now content with his ascension of knowledge, sees no reason to keep on living and jumps from Hell’s Peak, but little did he know that that would not be the end of his existence.
In Douluo Continent, the strong prevail and the weak perish. Each person possesses an innate spirit, some of which can be cultivated and strengthened, bestowing its user with various benefits. Those who were born with such spirits can become Spirit Masters, a profession regarded as one of the continent’s most noble.
Tang, reincarnated into this strange world, knows only the life of a blacksmith’s son. At the age of six, he takes part in the Spirit Master ceremony, and discovers his spirit is Blue Silver Grass—supposedly the world’s most useless spirit. In contrast, however, he possesses strong spirit power. Now, aided by the memories of his previous life as well, Tang’s future as a Spirit Master is in no way bleak.

Just a friendly advice, it’d be better not to use sharpening/contrast, etc. filters that much as it ruins some scenes (especially dark ones), it may look at first that it has been enhanced and better but believe me it’s better not to use them at all for most cases as they can enhance some scenes and ruin many others (introducing artifacts, detail loss, etc.).
Same goes for audio, it’s almost always to not re-encode audio as it each process degrades the audio quality a bit.

Thanks mate! I didn’t use any upscaling/sharpening program(s) or anything around these lines, i am very well aware what those are doing, otherwise i wouldn’t even have began working on this project. Which is why I used a “video-editor” by adding vfx plugins. These actually are enhancing the image without detail loss at all, in fact, it makes it looks even better, and to make sure it went well in the encoding I encoded over 25 times with many different settings to see what the end result would look like. Besides, the to the 4K upscaled is rendered in 1080p so another reason for no detail loss at all. I honestly think it’s very close to perfection except the brightness being a little bit too much but doable and not noticable. I also added a bit too much sharpening on the episode knowing how much it probably would be reduced by encoding the video file, from 3,3gb to 688mb. I didn’t encode the audio at all, just added a very tiny extra bass to the audio while making sure they would sound extremely fine with the voice-over’s that sound so much clearer now. This show has allot of Audio design problems and I am not the only one annoyed by it. It’s of course not the best but better than nothing at all. So everything has been done in the video-editor and not the encoder! ^^ (1/2)

I do agree with the fact that some dark scenes could be a bit too dark due the contrast which I noticed in the 002 video file which I also just finished rendering and encoding. I mean it looks nice honestly but I am gonna fix that part too. What I am trying to do is to bring out the right colors and reflections out of the animation vfx itself because it looks so damn plain. So far there’s no detail loss but extra details in fact, as for the artifacts, not exactly noticed them but if there’re some (probably tiny pixels) it’s due the encoding because from 3,3gb to 688mb w/donghua, I think I did a great job :3 – I’ll see what I can do to change some scenes. Someone in the server mentioned the sharpening a bit too much to, even tho it has been so much reduced by the encoder just like I wanted. Thanks for the great feedback mate, hope you’re looking forward to the rest of the upcoming episodes, slow but steady haha! >_< (2/2)

@VipapkStudiosOfficial, thanks for your work on this series. It’s your production, but I’d recommend little or no editing of the video. The halfway break scene didn’t really bother me the first time I watched the series. The rest I barely know what you are referring to (-: A quality encode like this with good subs is all most of us will notice. Keep it original, it’ll make your work a lot easier also.
