Episode 7 doesn’t actually use Pizza’s subtitles for either track. Instead it uses Funimation (awful timing and all) with TS by Ember. If anyone wants Pizza’s subs for the episode, I’ve uploaded them below.

episode 5 crashes VLC, right around the 17:45 mark, when it shifts focus to the video game cartridges.
i can skip over that part and it plays okay, but looking at the subtitle file, it looks like a bunch of vector data, that is set to constantly change size. i’m guessing this is supposed to be a translation of the text on the game carts, but if even my monster Ryzen 7 5800X and Radeon RX 5500 XT cannot handle processing it, what could?

@darkflux i know im late to this but VLC is not a very good player for watching anime. it gets the job done but you should look into other options. i personally use mpc hc, but the best performance is definitely mpv. just takes quite some time to properly setup. from my experience anime usually crashes on weaker video players when there are too many subtitles on screen at the time or when they are very heavily modified.

If you don’t want to spend time setting up mpv, Potplayer is quite good too. It supports almost all of the codecs and video encoding formats with seamless playing. Only thing is it is free but not open-source.
