Thanks, didn't expect this to get a US BD release after the JP BDs were cancelled. Wonder if Phantom in the Twilight or Blue Reflection Ray would end up getting them someday too.

@Simplistic Funi significantly increased their bitrate for their releases at least a year now. My annoyance is the different target rate for disc 1 and disc 2 in each set. It seems to be based on a dumb blind process, just based on a fixed amount of uneven episodes for disc 1 and disc 2 then divided by total size, probably to quickly automate the final authoring, .They won't evenly spread it out across both disc so that all eps get the same bitrate

I mean ideally, CBR type encodes are retarded, as anything that would have proper filtering could get away with much smaller VBR file sizes. But I'm sure *no one* has time to spend fansubber amounts of time on encodes. Then again, most fansub encodes are trying to fix the issues caused by said "rushing".
