The pathing on this torrent is strange somehow. My PC is treating these files as if they are on some different drive . I am getting a \\?\ in front of the drive letter when I check file properties in my media player, and a file utility I have that manages and renames files thinks the .mkv's are folders. I have tried to rename the files with that tool and it tells me file not found. I have tried to rename them within Windows explorer and it just fails to rename. I almost wonder if the torrent was created from a network drive?
In any case, thank you regardless, and the files seem fine once copied out of the original torrent file structure. Just so weird, I had never seen anything like it before.
@garylisk it is most probably because the episodes are deep inside a few folders, it happens many a times with myself as well, try to rename them after copying them to the main folder or drive, it will work
Copying and renaming worked just fine, but it's only one layer deep on this media drive before it hits the torrent folder itself, so I am just not sure about that. Sorry, I obsess over little things like this when I can't figure out what happened. I will have forgotten about it tomorrow lol
@garylisk you probably just hit the 256 character limit, I'm suprised your PC didn't warn you about it, mine did, but that might because I use Double Commander as my file manager.
