I was shared these before as omnibus style (v01-02 was digital not cm on my upload) but i deleted because of nyaa deleted some of my torrents due to upscaling i asked some guys which upload some mangas on nyaa about this, they said to me 'you can share, upscaling not against the rules'. Then i asked to nyaa why they deleted some of my uploads, they didnt answer. So i pissed and deleted some of my uploads including monster. I was upscaled them with using waifu2x, I tried esrgan but esrgan cause issues. If you checked your H2 upscaled title you can see the issues on the images. Basically my upscaled manga shares like your H2 but nyaa deleted without saying anything even against the rules. So i keep upscaled versions for me share natural versions. Anyway thanks.

Im using waifu2x extension gui, it has esrgan, waifu2x and other upscaling methods. I just put the folders on gui then select waifu2x ncnn vulkan select jpg format set static image quality 100. Scale ratio 2,000 i tried 3.000 but didnt work This is optional but im using replace original file option. Then start the process and wait for finish. After finished i rename the files with using advanced renamer then i resized with pixresizer. This way 850 mb folder down to 250 mb with minimal quality loss which is unimportant.
I prefer waifu2x over esrgan. Because esrgan ruin the images with giving squares most of time.
With esrgan youre right but waifu2x not ruin much that. Its not perfect like handmade but its acceptable many of us, I made a lot of comparison about these two and i prefer waifu2x over esrgan. Handmade upscale is the best but i or many of us dont have time for that. Thats why most people using ai upscaling.
Also issue is not that. Upscaling is choice matter. Please read the my first comment. Basically i complain double standarts.
@drgn:the H2 upscale was not made by me, all I know about the used upscale method is what's in the description of that upload. Yes, I checked it and that's why I mentioned "(...) I think in this case an upscale is worth it, even if there might be an odd image artifact here and there." We actually get to see details that we couldn't without the upscale. It's was not just magnifying the resolution and denoising.
In this case, whatever method Colored Manga used, it's much better than waifu2x:

@0v3r I know you didnt, you just shared. My objection if upscaling not against the rules why deleted my uploads, nothing more. I didnt mean any negative thing for you. I agree about colored manga which you said. I wish i know their method.
@Strek i found the reason why im getting error i forgot to set vram, i set vram and i can use 3x, 4x scale options.
Colored Manga most likely used an implementation of ESRGAN that isn't just a GUI with a few fixed presets, and a more powerful model that's better suited to manga. Maybe straight up EULA_digimanga, maybe they trained their own, idk, whoever's curious, go ask them.
That's the thing though, trained-from-scratch custom models are key. Even if they require an ungodly amount of time, computing power and money spent on electricity.
My mistake i was studying on a manga for sharing on nyaa so forgot edit that message. No they aren't use ps.They use mangascale v3, digimanga and chainner. I asked them and they told me these programs.
For what is worth I downloaded yours first @drgn, they both seem to be about the same size and it's not like it is unreadable. I appreciate the effort put in it, but at the end of the day, most people will read the bubbles, glance at the images and turn the page until they finish what they are reading and probably delete it afterwards, so not that big a deal. As long as we don't have to squint our eyes or zoom in 300% to read the damn thing, who the fuck cares if there's a little bit of noise, or rare artifacts.
Are you talking about monster which i upload and deleted? If you talking about it that was from coloredmanga like this, except first 2 omnibus release. I mean volume 1-4 they are officially digital. Starting v5 they are from colored manga.
Like i said they are from colored manga like 0v3r's i just did like omnibus because of covers. The only difference mine and this the mine's first 2 volumes official digital omnibus not from colored manga. Other than that mine and 0v3r's monster upload was exactly same. But as i said i couldn't edited or deleted that message. You know we only have 60 minutes for editing our messages. Sorry for misundertanding. About typing i don't use TL except when i have to remember a word, so sometimes i made mistake. The reason why I don't use TL is; TL make sentences much more wrongly than my typing.

That volume 8 has the contents of volumes 15 and 16 of the normal edition. And in my opinion looks worse (i think they're just uncleaned scans, Colored Manga's are cleaned scans and upscaled).
That volume 10 is the equivalent of volume 10 of this release. Looks way worse.
I didn't read this manga yet, so I can't say anything about the translation itself. Although just sampling a bit, it seems both MangaScreener's and VIZ's are okay. But only choose VIZ's scans if you really prefer VIZ's translation.
Perfect editions 1 and 2 look better and have some color pages at the beggining, so I'd recommend to replace volumes 1-4 of this torrent. I've considered doing that for this release, but ended opting to make it Colored Manga only. If more Perfect Editions are released, I'll collect them and upload here. So far I only have 1,2,3 and 8 in english.
You are right at every point. I came back to the torrents today, and then went back here to rectify my errors. But you got here first. Could you perhaps upload your english Perfect edition Vol8 to Mega or something similar? Unless there is a link somewhere already? I found Perfect Edition Vol 3 in the link to Colored Manga.
