(From Wikipedia):
Violence Jack (バイオレンスジャック) is a Japanese manga, co-written and co-illustrated by Go Nagai since 1973 until its conclusion in 1990. It has had several serializations and one-shot stories which have run in the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. Most of the stories have been compiled in around 38 tankōbon volumes, while a few of them have been published as special tankōbon or have yet to be published in that format. Violence Jack is credited with creating the post-apocalyptic manga and anime genre.
This is a remux of the 2022 US Blu-ray by Discotek. Included with this Blu-ray is a brand new scan of a 35mm print, which is the first time this OVA has ever been presented in HD. Also included is the original English dub by Manga Entertainment and some bonus features (most humorous being a compilation of the mosaic censorship present in the original Japanese video version).
Like Appleseed and Project A-ko, this release makes use of a brand new scan of a 35mm element from Tokyo Genzosho, and as such the image quality is absolutely amazing. One of the bonus features includes a short peek at the full frame film scan, showing the edges of the frame that contain incomplete drawings.
Given that this is a remux, absolutely no encoding was performed on the data present on the disc. The video is of course encoded on the disc in AVC H.264. As for the audio, both the original Japanese and English dub are in 2.0 stereo and encoded with DTS-HD Master audio, while the bonus features use standard Dolby AC3. Included are two sets of subtitles in the Blu-ray format.
Media Summary:
Video Codec: AVC H.264
Audio Codec: DTS-HD (Main Features), AC3 (Bonus Features)
Subtitles: Discotek (From the Blu-Ray)
See you next time.

Given that the old English DVD release was censored(cut, not talking about mosaics), how are they able to have both dubs?
