(From [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_A-ko_4:_FINAL)):
Project A-ko 4: Final (プロジェクトA子 完結篇) is a 1989 Japanese anime OVA release directed by Yuji Moriyama. It is the fourth installment of the Project A-ko series.

This is a remux of the 2023 US Blu-Ray by Discotek. Included with this Blu-Ray is a brand new film scan of an original 35mm film print, surpassing the quality of every past release. Also included is the original Japanese audio, the original English dub by Central Park Media, and a couple of special features; all using newly-translated subtitles. This remux includes everything listed above, however it unfortunately does not include any part of the image galleries. (While I have figured out a way of ripping them, it's a lot of effort, and frankly if you care that much about seeing them you should just support them and buy their Blu-Rays.)

The disc Discotek put out for Project A-ko 4 is unsurprisingly very similar to their releases of Project A-ko 2 & 3. Such as with these last releases, this is a remux, meaning that none of the files have been encoded after ripping from the disc to ensure that the digital quality is as high as possible. The video is encoded on the disc in standard 1080p H.264, and the audio is raw PCM. All of the content is presented in 4:3. Like 2 & 3 there are not nearly as many special features compared to the Blu-ray of the first film, however there is a new scan of the film's trailer which is pretty neat.

Much like before, both the original Japanese and English dub audio is included. As for the subtitles, as always they are newly translated by Discotek and are in the standard Blu-Ray subtitles format, with both Full Dialog and Signs & Songs tracks.

See you next time.
I'm not trying to stir up shit, but Discotek has been known to change the subtitles when it comes to certain series like the Japanese version of Samurai Pizza Cats, Kashimashi or Symphogear. How are the subs for A-Ko? Thanks again for sharing!
I can't speak for everything they've done but I can say that the A-ko subtitles are very good, with accurate translations and good styling. Plenty of signs get translated which you just didn't get with older subs. I mean they definitely "change" the subs in the sense that they go through and retranslate stuff from scratch but I've yet to see an example where their subs were worse than what was before, both officially and with fansubs. Maybe I'm just lucky but everything I've gotten from them so far has had new subtitle tracks that were very well done.
