The island and Nadia's vegetarian crap is the essential part of the story. Watch the full series and suffer as us.
This is a pretty nice AV1 mini release. It actually retains more detail than KAIXE's own degrained HEVC release. The only issue is that you didn't encode the video at 1440x1080(4:3), this would have gotten rid of the permanent black bars for those who want to use 16:9. Nevertheless, thanks.

What the hell I didn't notice. I did notice upon muxing their subs that their HEVC release is 4:3 so I assumed the source was the same and didn't even check it. I'm a bit pissed because I try to remove those damn black bars, just like I did on Hi no Tori: Eden no Sora that I released *the same day*... Well people will have to manually crop in their players or other available tool of choice.
It's all good, definitely not a big deal.
See this is why I'm glad we went with the "raw" and compressed format. I'm glad people have other options if they want smaller files/prefer how a different encode looks/etc. Good to see constructing the "raws" was worth it in the end. I mean I'm proud of my work but I'm not going to pretend to be the best encoder in the world LOL

I'm extremely grateful to the efforts you've put into this project, so I'm happy to have provided a worthwhile alternative to your own options!
