A while ago I went through most of Seikai series and did some BD encodes + subtitled releases. Not happy with how they were detelecined / encoded / everything, I’m doing the whole Seikai series again, and also releasing them here. Might take a few months (actually, years), hope you enjoy them! --- This source appears to be from the weird low-res digital era, with mixed old content and newer content. Subtitles have been sourced from AonE-Conclave release, and re-timed and edited to fit. This v2 is a major improvement from previous encode (not available in Nyaa). Due to how scenes were stitched in this release, some scenes run at native speed, while others are hard telecined, and others hard interlaced at 540p then scaled to 1080i. Major blending artifacts existed, and residual combing from what the masterers did. * Inverse Telecined each section from 30000/1001 fps to 24000/1001 fps where applicable. * Some credits and fades have been plainly deinterlaced and manually adjusted. * Filtered old scenes to remove blending artifacts where possible, and properly remove scaling artifacts. * No denoise filter * Bilinear downscale to 1280x720, keeping YUV 4:4:4 @ 10bit. * Encoded with libaom v3.7.0+patches, keeping noise and sharp detail at bloat cq-level=10, end-usage=q.
