I think it was really smart of writers to take the focus and place it on Xun'er rather than Xiao Yan of this series since she doesn't get enough attention in the anime series as Xiao Yan's MAJOR love interest imho. BTTH anime is very heavily focused on battles and constant testing of ones power against others. BTTH LIVE ACTION takes the twist of unravelling some of the relationship between Xiao Yan and Xun'er and less time is spent on the constant power testing battles among cultivators on this continent. Ding Xiao Ying (Nina Rong Rong female lead of Douluo Continent fame) plays Xun'er and does a GREAT job creating the love interest between Xiao Yan and Xun'er.  ________________________________________  As for Xiao Yan - I think they could have picked a better actor for him but to give him CREDIT he does grow into his part over the series. Xiao Yan is an interesting combo of childish whim and superhero and very difficult to play a 7 year series worth of growing up in just 34 episodes. WHATS IMPORTANT ABOUT HIS CHARACTER IS HE DOES A GREAT JOB EXPRESSING HIS DEEP LOVE TO XUN'ER. Many actors struggle with expessing love in dramas and if the actor is bad enough it can be downright revolting. This is this actors saving grace and makes the love story of these two very interesting to watch. _______________________________________ ALL IDENTICAL INTRO MUSIC AND ENDLESS EXIT MUSIC HAVE BEEN REMOVED (Except for Episode 001 left untouched) 17:00 hours of pure content - no interruptions (34 - 30-33 minute Episodes on average) Nice long episodes. suggest watching at 80% speed. the mandarin is spoken VERY fast and makes reading subtitles RUSHED and annoying IMHO. Potplayer is a fantastic video player and has special code to make spoken words sound NORMAL at slower speeds. To slow down just click the playback tab in console and click SLOWER and it goes down to 90% 80% 70% so forth with each click. Slower is ESPECIALLY useful when trying to learn another language as well.
