Decided to go back and redo my original upload of EP 01 so my uploads have consistency.
Some were complaining about video quality. Instead of being passive aggressive I did something about it.
Video: DSNP 1080p WEBDL encoded to H265 by myself (this time in better quality, I prowmise)
Subtitles: DSNP English (NOT SDH). I switch this release from a styled .ASS to just straight SRT subs because I don’t want to have to pick a sub and have everyone tear me apart for using one they don’t like :)

@JustSayNo2Funi - TL;DR Honestly, its mostly a meme. EMBER released E01 and it was a cluster f***, so I released a proper version and chose the name [NotEmber].
Long story - They had hearing impaired subs that had subs for every little noise. ex. "bell tolls". Instead of just Japanese. So I decided to just release a proper H265 release with good subs. Then I kinda just kept going for the meme and I'm going to do this whole season. Maybe I should get a proper release group name instead of being petty towards EMBER, but it is what it is. SO basically my releases are just x265 with ENG subs that aren't SDH. I don't do anything spectacular, as this is my first foray into releases. But I'm using it as a gateway to maybe do better releases and stuff. Sorry for the rant lol.
honestly, ASS vs SRT doesn't really matter. only player that cannot handle ASS is WMP, and if you are still using that, you deserve no anime, lol
SRTs are slightly smaller, but ASS allows custom colors and text placement (in fornt of signs, etc.) and background coloring. but if they are just straight up Vanilla subs, then SRT is the "better" option.
but i really prefer ASS, if only for the aronym ;)
