The native resolution is 720p, and the painting precision is increased, though some fine lines are reaching the limits of native 720p, causing subpixel aliasing. The upscaling algorithm adopted in the production is rather chaotic. As a result, lines are sometimes sharp with severe aliasing and ringing while once in a while blurry with slight aliasing. In the most irregular cases, the algorithm changes once for new cuts. Therefore, we designed a method to automatically select the suitable upscaling algorithm for reconstruction based on real-time analysis.
