My BD encode of the show. Subtitles are Commie with restyled dialogue, and subtitles inserted for the creditless OPs and EDs. Fixed missing OP font in episode 9.

@tonikaku If you actually understand what they’re saying, feel free to provide a translation for the commentaries and I will gladly release a v2 with them included

oh really? so you would strip out the main audio track of an anime if it wasnt translated? dub supremacy xd? fucking
@capsizer thankyou for trying to be helpful
the issue here is more sabotaging what could be a contribution. is this meant to be an improvement on cunny/whats available for this show or is it meant to be a low sized alternative? probably the former right seeing how much effort it takes. ignoring the opus issue, youre certainly not making an archive version when you fucking strip tracks.

@tonikaku Yes, it’s a significant improvement over all other releases with regards to video quality.
How is “opus issue” a thing? There isn’t any documented case for anyone managing to ABX test Opus vs FLAC at that bitrate and especially not for an episode. If you manage to show me that you can successfully ABX test this show with my encoded audio track vs the lossless version of it, I will gladly start releasing every BD with FLAC audio from now on.
I am not adding an audio commentary track when there are no subtitles for it. It’s not useful for me and it’s not useful for anyone else watching this considering this is released in the “English Translated” section of Nyaa. Sneedsplit with commentary audio (as well as any other desired changes) if you want.

@smol I don’t think it’s correct to say that including untranslated commentary is not useful for anyone watching this. As someone who knows Japanese and wants to watch the best video encode, it would indeed be useful for me if your (and any encoder’s) releases included the audio commentary. It would save me the hassle of having to get the commentary separately from other sources. But I guess the real point is rather that people like me (and perhaps tonikaku) make up a sufficiently small minority so that the increased file size for everyone else isn’t justified.
