我们之前已经基于日版 BD 制作过 GREAT PRETENDER 的 BDRip。最近看到本片的美版 BD，发现它的正片视频不像日版那样给非日语台词都加了硬字幕，画质也完全不输日版，是更理想的片源，因此我们基于美版 BD 把正片部分又重制了一遍。合作字幕组 SweetSub 也把之前的字幕针对此版片源重新做了适配。
具体来说，本次发布的正片和片尾主题歌 PV 的视频部分都选用了美版 BD 为源（无日语硬字幕）。而音轨则全部来自日版 BD，即包括了日版 BD 中的多国语言配音版（日语配音为主，英、法、韩、西、中文则由其他人配音）、纯日语配音演员配音版以及日语评论音轨，但不包括美版的全英文配音版音轨。部分集数的日版音轨也都根据美版做了时间同步处理。如果你有根据日版 BD 制作的字幕，部分集数增加一秒（确切说是 1001 毫秒）的延迟即可匹配。其余特典则全部来自日版（美版的特典大多有英文硬字幕，而插入歌 Someday 的 MV 和日版一样有日语硬字幕）。
无论是日版还是美版，原盘画质都还不错，我们只针对性地做了去色带、抗锯齿和去晕轮等常规处理。
Though we've made BDRip based on JPBD, the recent USBD is more ideal. It maintains comparable image quality, and the non-Japanese parts are not embedded with hard subtitles rather. So we reworked the main part based on the USBD. SweetSub also adjusted their subtitles accordingly.
Specifically, the main movies and the video track of the ending PV are sourced from USBD(without Japanese hardsub). The audio, however, is from the JPBD: it includes multilingual dub versions (primarily Japanese, with English, French, Korean, Spanish, and Chinese by other voice actors), a purely Japanese dub, and a Japanese commentary track; it excludes the fully English dubbed version from the USBD. For some episodes, we adjusted the timing of the JP audio track for USBD. If you have subtitles based on JPBD, you can simply add 1s(in fact, 1001ms) delay and then enjoy. Other specials are all made from JPBD (the US version has English subtitles, and MV "Someday" has hardsub like the JP version).
No matter which version, both sources are of good quality. We only targeted applied regular processes like debanding, anti-aliasing, and de-haloing.
