no offense, but upscaled version is looking like bad scan with high contrast. except volume cover color version, I like that one.

@rajawali I had to adjust the black levels beforehand, otherwise the upscaling model generates screentone patterns where they shouldn’t be.

Notice how it generates screentones even on the black parts of the image when the levels aren’t adjusted.

why spend all this time ai upscaling a digital version when it’s way more beneficial to produce higher quality scans?
