A Dual Audio release encoded in AV1 and OPUS for optimum size and quality. Files are named to support media servers like Plex using TVDB metadata.

This project is a production with the goal of the smallest video size with significant subjective compromises to image quality. This is not the hallmark of AV1, but close enough. This release should only contain changes to the video stream and audio tracks. The subtitle and attachment tracks are usually copied from the noted sources. Timings are not adjusted except in cases of extreme delay as a result of mixing sources. - SavI0r

@Animorphs: The description omits the EN forced disposition (“Signs & Songs”) due to issues and/or inherited inconsistency with the source(s) such as missing/corrupted or incorrectly tagged tracks - we don’t recall the exact issue(s) although the latter is unfortunately common. For a similar reason, we also omitted mention of sparsely-included HI subtitle tracks (ex. S01E02) which we do recall being entirely missing from some episodes in our source.

Apologies for the lack of consistency on subtitle order but we have never made guarantees on the order. However, behind the scenes our muxing script attempts to sort audio and subtitle tracks depending on what the original disposition is set to and then by lexicographically sorting the rest. There is a very minor race condition in our muxing script when asynchronously “importing” source files which may result in a subtitle being added to the array in a different order between episodes. Ideally, the sorting should be further broken down into sorted language “buckets” and then subsequently sorted by the forced, default, None (such as alternatives to the default), and commentary dispositions and finally merged back into a single ordered list. That should also nullify any need for us to refactor the script to remove the suspected race condition - although we also have plans to completely rewrite the backend in the future so that would be the best time to implement that change.

To be clear, we will not be making a new release to solely add missing EN “Signs & Songs” tracks. They, along with the few HI tracks, should be considered “bonus” items for this particular release. It is not the first nor will it be the last time we have included “bonus” tracks. Thanks for giving us an excuse to talk about some of the technical shortcomings and potential improvements of our muxer.
