Hi, what a coincidence, I just finished downloading v23.1 and checked if there's an update which leads here probably in the earliest.
I take it that it's time to delete the old versions and download this one completely new with all these great changes?

Yes, you will need to replace your local copy with this release. I think a lot of the old stuff will match still, but there'll be too many mismatches to make it worthwhile.
Also, I should probably create standalone torrents for the LNs that others don't upload. I'll have to see if I can automate this process.
what's the difference between stuff marked as "- complete" and one-volume series that are indicated as "- Volume 01"?
there's at least one of the former that's wrong/misleading (Once Upon a Witch's Death, which was one volume when yen press licensed it but has since grown) and multiple of the latter (like Side-By-Side Dreamers)
@Kuro57 They're single-use keys, so please try another one until one of them works I suppose. About 300 of them are taken so far.
@kiriya_aoi this one is a bit weird. Most publishers don't usually indicate whether the series has a single volume or not. I either have to read the afterword and see if the author promises to see us again in the next volume, or see if the ranobedb entry assigns it a volume number in the volume title. The latter is much more reliable. RNDB also has a status tag, but I've found that it's not always accurate for completed series.

Why was Ascendance of a Bookworm given generic volume numbers instead of the official numbering?
The volumes are supposed to be Part n Volume x not a generic Volume z. RanobeDB lists the volumes correctly, and in previous releases they were named much better.
@ShuSaura admittedly that change was for my own convenience, as my tools worked much better with serialized names like that. Unfortunately the RanobeDB API doesn't report the volume number as a separate field so any automated process to index them trips up pretty hard with how Ascendance of a Bookworm was. If this change is too disruptive, I don't mind reverting it for the next release.
@AlpinDale Maybe add batch files for series where the numbering is not standard (such as Ascendance) that would allow the user to easily rename the files to the official volume numbers (either a simple rename, or a hardlink like the bat file in the !EPUB folder in the previous releases did). This would allow you to easily manage the files as well as allow users to get the proper volume names.

@Alpindale this release needs more work and a revision, better if you hide it for the time being, verified with v23+v23.1 and unless some files are under other name this is the list of problems: https://files.catbox.moe/ytibil.txt
Also, there can be missing some new releases as I didn't check for it.
@Tsalnor I fixed all of those for this torrent, but I missed some of them when uploading to ranobe.app. I'll run another scan and fix those as well. Do you have a specific example?
@AlpinDale To be clear, it just makes the reader stop working where the advertisement was placed, the advertisement isn't actually showing in the reader.
