Pilot release for an Akazukin Chacha Bluray project This is a simple Constant Quality 16 RF rip of the first episode from the Bluray set /w embedded timed subs. The source has a bit of cropping, is smoothed out, and looks upscaled. Later episodes don't have the double images seen here and they're artifacts on the source, so not much I can do about them. I'm open to comments, but there's not much I can do about the source. Source: Akazukin Chacha 30th Anniversary Blu-ray box (original disks)

I know. It's pretty sad. The Shincaps episodes, while having issues, at least suggested that the Blurays should look better than this. I shelled out a lot for the disks, so I'll keep working on it, but I really hoped for better.

you wasted your money on this crap? lmao, the BDBOX has been on U2 since 2024 with screenshots and comments on how terrible it looks, the video is useless, audio might be usable, nothing can save this dogshit upscale

Well... not everyone has access to U2 :( I think that I'll still move forward with the project, since it does start looking better by disk 3.
