This raw is Nittele for the first half (except most of the of the OP) and RBC for the second half. Thus the issues with the original broadcast (mainly a shortened preview) are fixed. I'll still redo it if/when Animax gets that far, but only to replace the epilepsy warning at the beginning, since Nittele and RBC are comparable quality and their logos clean up better. So here's what happened since my last Conan upload: * I got 星光字幕 ("conans")'s softsubbed MK1 from one of the Nittele affiliates. It'd be nice if a TS turned up but this alternate version is so rare that I can make do if nothing else shows up. We HAD a TS years ago; long story as to what happened with that. * I partially confirmed the origin of M-L's blank sponsor card (yes, they used MK9); the actual card is lost and will have to be remade. I'm also planning to cut out the Conan intros for each MK ep (they're exclusive to the initial broadcast) and keep them to put out alongside a still-possible M-L BluRay release. Still looking for TSes, but I *may* have a source. * As you see, I've procured the missing part of 687, and here it is. ;) * If anyone can keep me up to date with RBC airings, please do. If I put out a "V0" that means I think, with further source, I can probably do better; but I think that having RBC airings is almost just as, and in fact in some respects more, useful compared to Animax, with the only issues being the epilepsy warnings at the beginning, and the occasional time change notice in the preview. This is because RBC, like Animax, is not a first-run network, so their airings don't have the messed-up endings and previews that some of the first airing episodes have, and aren't as likely to have news flashes on them; but being a broadcast network, they still have the warnings on the episodes themselves, rather than before them like Animax and Kids Station. DVD source may be usable to fix these also (but for 694+ it might be too obvious, due to a resolution increase in the animation); my DVDs only run up to episode 664 currently. Also in some cases they may be needed to fix the skits (if, for example, they advertise movies).

Why delogoed though?

Does it surprise you, after nearly half a decade of encoding HD Conan raws, that I delogo?
I have never watched Conan though. I am just wondering, why would you do it, it's pretty much pointless.
people get mad if they see the tv station logo there

Why remove promotions? Why remove emergency news tickers? For that matter, why use a reairing?
not sure what you mean exactly but i probably wouldn't remove those either unless they didn't overlap with the content of the episode themselves. >For that matter, why use a reairing? you tell me

Well, we used to go to extreme lengths to remove news tickers over episodes (like during earthquakes). And Conan has, in the past, had promotional tickers during the episodes. These encodes are almost as clean as DVDs - important since the BDs are just R2 upscales (WHY?!)
and here goes herkz, acting like she's the voice of reason in this matter how's that Heavenrand fansubbing going?
>she also lmao if you think i work on symphogear
